Diary / Announcements 23/11/03 Cripple Mr Onion w/ Melee' The Dux Delux once again packed out for local kings Cripple Mr Onion, and the saliva was flowing after their 3 month break. There was even a 'Fud' chant :) All madness ensued, bodies flew (Kezza, take a bow), and the night went off like no other. Melee' provided superb support for the night, quickly warming everyone up. If you haven't heard Melee' yet, keep your ear to the ground for their next appearance. They're going to go far. 8 Foot Sativa w/ Syndakit 8 Foot Sativa rolled into town the night after for their 'Season For Assault' tour and blasted the skin off a mad crowd. The usual crowd pleasers came out in force, as well as a slew of the songs from 'Season For Assault' which were devastating. An encore of 'Fuelset' topped everything off, and my whole body hurts. Fucking good show, chaps. Sound and Lights Crew deserve a pat on the back, good show guys. Big ups to Syndakit who played in support - you owe it to yourself to check these guys out. Over the last year they've come a long way, and know how to put you in your place. 19/11/03 Cripple Mr Onion After bowing out for 3 months while Fud travelled overseas, CMO are back at the Dux on the 21st of November with Melee' - the show is going to be big, get there early. There's also a show at Wunderbar on December the 6th, in Lyttleton - there's a few surprises in store for this one, so don't miss it either. 01/11/03 Helloween Festivities The Halloween Show @ Mediaclub went off well, with Neavus, Melee', Undamime and Nexus putting on a badass night. Move on 24 hours, and Human took the stage at the Dux once again to battle with the crowd for supremacy - this time in support for Malevolence. Both bands played amazingly, good to see Malevolence finally make it down here to Anti-Christchurch. Chiropractors will be busy for the next week. 06/09/03 Sifty Chris & The Gladeyes After blistering shows in ChCh and Oamaru, the Gladeyes made it to the Lion Red BOTB Finals in Orcland. Bad luck on not placing, but congrats on getting there, nice one. :) Everyone should hunt out their album 'What To Do' - it kicks ass. Anyone who enjoyed them live will feel at home with the album.
