CURRENT GEAR The following is slated for purchase towards the end of the year, and will be available to clients. Microphones Shure Beta 52 Kick/Bass Mic Shure Beta 91 Kick Mic Shure Beta 57 Instrument Mic I haven't finalised exactly how many of each I'm going to buy, but at this stage, I'd like to have to be running a Beta 91 and a Beta 52 on Kick, Beta 57's on Snare/Toms and Guitars, Beta 52 + DI on Bass. Overheads, in the way of SM81's are also planned. So far no Vocal Mics are planned, but we'll see what happens. I'm also shopping around for decent Mounting systems to eliminate stands from around the drumkit.
The following equipment is slated for sometime in mid-2004: Drive Rack Digital Dual 31 Band FOH Mastering System 31 Band Stage Monitor EQ with Peaklight Indicators for quicker Feedback correction. MULTICOM
PRO-XL MDX4600 X2 8 Channels of Compression & Gating for Percussion, Bass and Vocals. There'll also be atleast 2 effect units going in here, depending on what my taste lies in when the deal is being made.
Miscellaneous I use Sennheiser HD280 head phones exclusively for live mixing reference.
